The Sheboygan Falls Municipal Court has jurisdiction over traffic and non-traffic ordinance violations within the City of Sheboygan Falls.

Schedule & Appearance Information

Court is held on the 2nd Thursday pf each month at City Hall (1st floor Council Chambers). Adult court begins promptly at 6:00 p.m. followed by juvenile court at 6:30 p.m.

If your citation is marked “APPEARANCE REQUIRED,” you are required to appear in-person on the indicated court date to make your plea. You are seen on a first come, first served basis.

Failure to appear in court, pay your forfeiture, or plea not guilty prior to your initial court date will result in a default judgment, meaning a plea of no contest, finding of guilty, and imposition of penalties.

If you plea “not guilty” your case will be scheduled for a pre-trial conference with the prosecuting attorney. Please be advised that if you plea “not guilty,” your case will NOT be heard at your initial court date; you will be given a new court date. All pre-trial conferences are mandatory court appearances.

To plea “not guilty,” do ONE of the following:

1. Mark “not guilty” on the Municipal Court Procedures handout and mail to the address listed above or fax to the number listed above.* You will be notified of your new court date via U.S. Mail approximately one week after your initial court appearance date.

2. Visit the Municipal Court office (physical address listed above) and complete a Not Guilty Plea form.* You will receive a new court date immediately.

3. Appear at on the date/time noted on your citation to plea “not guilty.” You will receive a new court date immediately.

*Must be completed no later than one day prior to your initial court date.

Payment Information

Payments may be made via cash, check, or card. However, there is an extra fee if you choose to pay by card. Checks should be payable to “Sheboygan Falls Municipal Court.”

Payments can be made online by clicking HERE. You may also mail your payment at the mailing address listed above or utilize the drop box next to the elevator.

If your citation includes restitution (i.e., worthless checks, retail theft, damage to property, etc.), payment must be made via cash or money order.
